• Start discussion on a five year plan, i.e. hosting our own spring or fall tournament, hosting an indoor tournament, having a fall rec league in the southwest district.

Parent concerns

None heard.

Treasurers report

Current balance of $22350
all fall expenses paid out.
overall lost $4k (equipment, etc.)

Fundraising report

• Epecting one remaining check for a food truck from EOY celebration
• Sold 40 units of clothing
• Cordell’s is a major sponsor for next season.
• Will attempt to keep Ciatti’s as a sponsor

Coaching director

Winter Wednesday 615-815 dec 1 - 23 feb

• Fowler & Hammer will sponser winter Wednesdays (pay for coaches, etc.)
• 12 sessions, payout for coaches is to be determined (350 - 500)
• will create a flyer.

Sunday sessions through park & rec

We should travel to Viroqua since we held friendlies with them here. Need to get a date that works for both clubs.

• Brought up the need to assign refs
  Possible early-mid april?? Time and field space concerns.
  • 1st week of april is open (for fields)

Will be meeting with Chris Geary to discuss field spaces.

Registrar

• Emailed Chris (park and rec) to discuss how to run spring soccer, insurance, registration and payment.
• Do we want to early register the travel teams (January), to spread the tournament fees over the few months prior to season start.
• We can register spring park&rec with demosphere, but not forward them to WYSA. - to be determined.

Spring survey results:
12 players opted out of spring travel 20 haven’t responded.

PR

Nothing to report

Secretary

• Launched new website.
• Created new email accounts. Few items left to migrate, remove.
• Implemented a new way to send meeting invites so that they are addressed individually, not caught in spam.
• Going to work with Charlie to get him setup and take over making site changes.

Equipment manager

• 22 soccerballs to be donated for one world event at EOY celebration.
• going to send tourneyment pics to our sponsers (lse airport, kwik trip)

Open Discussion:

SWD meeting notes:

• no fees for 2021, 2022
• forming a ref. committee to retain refs. Ben will be on the committee.
• asked for a coaching clinic in La Crosse area for grassroots coaching.
• Secretary position is open.
  • Board approved Ben becoming their secretary.
• Rush winter invite for Jan 29, 30th.
  • non VYSA formed teams.
  • 4v4 no goalie, max roster of 6

Discussion of mission and vision:

• Need to add mission and vision to what is Nick’s Open Letter - Jen will compile and submit for review for Dec meeting

5 year plan discussion:

• We need a referee assigner so that we can host.
  • Prefer to have separate position that does this.
• Need to define goals
• Need to have our mission and vision defined.
