Approval of previous minutes

• Jenny Motioned. Approved.

Parent concerns

• none heard

Treasurers report

• Current balance of $60,734

• will pay park and rec 4,000

• Nick and Ben need to be paid

• Neenah tournament to be paid for yet.

• Motion to raise coaches pay to $350 for tournament travel teams - for non-parent coaches. Motion passed.

• Motion to approve the report was raised and approved.

Fundraising report

• Secured the third sponsor for the jerseys.
  • Cordell’s
  • LSE Airport
  • Mayo Clinic
• Looking to secure a sponsor for tryouts - 3-4K
• Will bring in food trucks for both days of the gamboree
  • Nick will get # of teams, players for the food trucks.

Coaching director

• Rec program - 5th & 6th boys are combined as well as 7th & 8th.

• Jamboree May 21st, 22nd will need family support to run the events

• Driftless frendlies have been cancelled.

• Menomonie frendly scheduled for U12 up

• March 25th - coaching course that was re-scheduled

• Holmen Middle School gym available for the Iowa tournament teams.

• motion to accept report at 8:03 approved.

Registrar

• Attended a demosphere webinar, brought up numerous issues that need to be resolved with their app.

Equipment manager

• Still waiting on some equipment for their coaches wishlist.
• Park and rec jerseys are on time (plus or minus…)

Open Discussion:

• Josh is going to send out a cancellation policy to have the group look over.

• Brenda is working on a Tryout Flyer & Brochure.

• Discussed bylaws, Josh sent out updated bylaws that we’ll look into/edit.

• June 1st - 22nd Tryout period

• June 17th - U11 - U15 Uniform offer date

• U16 up June 24th - uniform offer date

• Open promotion is 2 weeks prior to June 1st. - This is the earliest we can offer a current member.

• Medical advisor position

  • Dr. Aaron Zivney
  • Will create a new club email address (MedicalAdvisor@holmenvysa.com)

• Motion for Medical Advisor position was raised and approved.

• Motion to go to private session approved.

• There is a desire to move annual meeting to May to be more in alignment with other clubs.

• Motion to approve Ben and Nick’s compensation has been approved.
